Dana White: UFC-Pride Deal is Official, Discusses Possible Liddell-Jackson Rematch

Yesterday UFC President Dana White was interviewed on ESPN News talking about the results from UFC 71 as well as the company and sports future. In the interview it is confirmed that the UFC deal for Pride is finally official after nearly a month delay. It was quite obvious when Dan Henderson was revealed as the light heavyweight challenger although vocal confirmation is always reassuring.

White also discusses a potential Liddell-Jackson 3 fight stating that Liddell would have to win several fights before he would be given another shot at Jackson. So much for an immediate rematch. Up next for Chuck is PRIDE veteran Wanderlei Silva.

After the break is a video of the interview:

Liddell should get a instant rematch for the belt. Jackson came to the UFC and only won one fight, then he got a title match. So what if he beat Liddell in Pride thats not the UFC he should have had to fight his way to the top like everyone else. The only reason he got the shot was because of his win in Pride

Robert, have you ever seen any of Quinton’s fights? Obviously not, who cares if he is from Pride or the UFC. Either way you slice it, he is a great fighter. Don’t get mad because your boy Chuck got knocked out by a better fighter.
