Ludwig vs. Morgan Headlines Strikeforce “Payback” On October 3rd

California-based MMA promotion Strikeforce has announced that they will head to Denver, Colorado on October 3rd for Strikeforce “Payback”.
Local fighter Duane “Bang” Ludwig takes on UFC veteran Sam Morgan in the night’s main event.
Frank Trigg is scheduled to meet Falaniko Vitale at the fall event and Phil Baroni and Pete Spratt are also expected to be in action in separate bouts.
The event will be held at the 6,000-seat Broomfield Events Center in Broomfield, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. The venue hosted UFC Fight Night 13 in April.
The event will be broadcast live on HDNet.

Didn’t Morgan just get submitted last night? He has a glass jaw and I’ve never seen or heard of him doing well. I remember him from the TUF show where he got KO’d pretty bad….twice I think. Then every time I read about him he is coming off a loss. I don’t understand how this guy is still around.
Spratt/Baroni should be interesting enough. I’m not insanely excited because they are on the card but after Baroni’s last two fights, I’d like to see if he can continue his win streak.
Yeah, the spratt/baroni fight might be worth watching but Trigg is the only other fighter who I would care to see. Oh well. Maybe there will a future star on the bill that none of us know about yet.
baroni is the man, i hope hes turned his luck/attitude around get him back in the ufc throwin bombs
i hate to say it but even tho Baroni has one of the BADDEST knockouts of all time inside the UFC cage (Dave Menne spelt wrong i think there is a, A in there somewhere or a extra E, whatever) mostlikely Phil will never fight for the UFC again, who could he beat?

I just clarified the article but I don’t believe Baroni and Spratt are fighting one another, but both will be on the card.
I personally enjoy the Strikeforce events and think this has the makings of a very solid card.
