UFC 87 Weigh-In Results
Weigh-ins for UFC 87 “Seek and Destroy” took place today at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The ten-bout pay-per-view event takes place tomorrow, August 9th, at the venue.
All twenty fighters successfully made weight with UFC 87 headliners, welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre and challenger Jon Fitch, weighing in exactly at the 170 pound welterweight limit. Brock Lesnar tipped the scales at the heavyweight limit of 265 pounds while his opponent, Heath Herring, weighed in at 250 pounds. Lightweight contenders Kenny Florian and Roger Huerta both weighed in exactly at the 155 pound lightweight limit.
Non-title bout fighters are allowed to weigh in one pound over their respective weight class limit, but all of the UFC 87 fighters weighed in at, or under, the limits.

Florian v Huerta~~~ Huerta by head kick ko 3rd round, Kenny can win just as well i like them both, and if Kenny wins i will say i was wrong
Macdonald v Maia~~~ Maia by gogo 1st round ok ok im certain that Maia will win by subbmission i just dont know which one if he could pull off that reverse triangle again that would be awesome

Kalib Starnes is the best fighter ever. The UFC will regret the day they let him go. HIs style is superior to most. I loe Mr. Starnes. I am very tolerant of his run and gun style.

JOHNBOY – The fighter bashing wasn’t addressed at him. There were some previous comments which I deleted about Karo Parisyan that were inappropriate which is why I issued the warning. Their conversation now is a toned-down continuation of it and is perfectly acceptable, but some of the other ones were a bit harsh and removed.
Amir did a Q&A with fight club members yesterday before the weigh-ins so he’s still around. I’d speculate he’ll next fight at The Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale in December based on nothing but the fact that they like to have previous TUF fights compete on Spike.

Sometimes you seem a little up tight and afraid of what most people view as weird, strange and different. You should lighten up and tolerate people a little more. You have people from all over the world talking MMA here now and people are going to feel very strongly and indifferent when discussing fighters. I’m not saying you are wrong at all. This is your site…..You make the rules and therfore, you are always right. I’m not offended when people call Bisping several different forms of homosexual and I live in San Francisco where people go crazy over that $h!t! Perhaps I don’t care about the issue because I’m a bit more conservative in an insanely liberal part of the country. The point I am making is that you have a vendetta against me for being strange and you hate homosexuals which is why you never delete those posts. I know I am different but I mean well. It is not fair of you to get upset over me calling Karo a terrorist and let the “homosexual” Bisping commments fly. Your site….your rules….Just making a point. It seems a double standard.
