Matt Serra did not deserve to fight GSP. He had a string of loses to a bunch of losers. And he hit the lottery with the show. GPS must have been off his game to lose to him.

GSP is superior to hughes , even in the first fight against hughes GSP was far ahead . GSP beat kosheck at his own game , koscheck is a colegiate wrestling champion and GSP is not even considered a wrestler, now NO QUESTION ABOUT IT serra beat gsp fair and square , but seriously even hughes has lost a few fights , there is no one with a perfect record , i just think gsp will regain his title back,,,,, and yes i am a gsp fan.

I love Matt Serra’s commentary. And I think he’s right on it; he speaks from the heart.

Matt Hughes is incredible. But he was a dick. He touts this die-hard Christian way of life but makes dumb racist jokes on TUF when he came as a guest coach (recall Din Thomas). And Serra called it then: he’s a cocky bastard. I hope he gets creamed. (But we also know, it’s unlikely. The guy is phenomenal.)

As for GSP, it’s likely that Serra is just plain hurt. He spoke so highly of GSP, saw him beat Hughes just after the show where he continually defended GSP to the mockery of the rest of the bunch, and now look–Serra on top, Hughes gone, GSP gone, and the only one who puts his money where his mouth is is the underdog “midget”. I totally admire people like him. I hope others do too. It’s a rarity to encounter someone, even in the MMA world, not given to passive aggressive tactics to reign supreme.

GSP: You are a better fighter than Serra. You’re about the best welterweight there is and we all know it. You also lost a fight. Apologize to the guy who showed you so much respect, then go out there and beat him up next time. God, how stupid can you be? After you lost you were more on top than you ever could have been if you had won…

first matt hughes lost it….i dont understand why the f*** hes gettin a shot anyways jus a rubber match…f*** that ****…i wont bother watching the finals of TUF 6 cuz i dont beleive that matt deserves a shot at the title in the first place…i hope serra punches the **** right outta him then we dont have to deal with his arrogance no more…matt hughes is no more a better human then u and I…..on a lighter note i lost alot of respect for what GSP said he knew serra had the chance of a lifetime and he shoulda trained like that…i dont agree with people callin him a god or him beleiving hes a god aint no one in this game a god…look at cro cop when he got knocked out everyone thought he would mow right through that fight…but what can u say..it was a lucky kick

I was lukewarm about Serra, but I’m starting to turn a bit cold. He comes off here as thin skinned & petty. Add to this his repeated use of the word “dick” to describe Matt Hughes and his nice guy image suffers.

I don’t give Serra much of a chance in the Matt v. Matt Match, so I’m looking forward to him losing the title without a successfull defense.
