I think the point was there was noone in the UFC at the time that Randy wanted to fight. He wanted Fedor and Fedor only. Dana refused to co-promote so he didn’t get his fight and resigned. He did screw up…but I think it’s sad that the Dana can end someone’s contract anytime he wants (just because he doesn’t like them in some cases) but the opposite is never true. EVER.

had randy defended his belt 2 more times and PUBLICLY called out fedor, this probably would have been great for EVERYBODY (exept for fedor seeing as he would’ve gotten murdered)

A contract is just a piece of paper and the guy already did so much for the UFC. Just let it go and let him do his own thing already. The contract date has already run out in July so technically he should be allowed to do as he wishes…Ultimately he’s going to anyway.

I think figuring out how many PPV buys an individual can bring is a figure that cannot be determined so should be irrelevant. However, perhaps if he just apid what his fighter salary + average PPV percentage (assuming he was still getting that) would be enough.

We all know Dana will leave him in litigation forever rather than have him fight ever again. But hey…he always does what’s best for the sport right? Keep MMA in check Dana! bahahaha

Randy had a OBLIGATION to COMPLETE his CONTRACT! Enough of the crying about “salaries” and “he says, she says” if it is on a signed contract, you take it like a man or walk away a B*itch! No more complaining about Jardine’s money and randy’s whining. You signed the paper… shut up!

God forbid Randy wanting to fight somewhere else after his contract is over. He wanted to go elsewhere so let him go… UFC already has a monopoly and Dana says he isn’t even worried about other promotions…so why worry about this?

I’m sure you will all have many reasons as to why he SHOULD worry about it…but none of them will be valid with the kind of money Dana’s making. Let it go already…

BTW after seeing Affliction Banned, I am not bothered about the next UFC fights. I prefer cage over ring anytime but with the kind of fighters in Affliction I really find UFC very boring and contrevesial
