0-3 WOOH! I am the man! I will say that I didn’t care at all about the first three….
1-3 The rally begins LOL
1-4 minor setback. When I Prater over Larson I by something in Spider Guard I never thought it would be his own death…
1-5 ok its a draw:)…Enjoy the card everybody!
Man, I thought Stann was a badazz until this fight. Both fighters pretty much have no conditioning.
All the losses are worth it for Varner and Cantwell to win!
That Miller stoppage was questionable…He had the presence of mind to turn over and prep for guard against the cage. Herb Dean gets the call though…
there is a couple disappointments in this card the micah miller fight was close but i believe he did get flash koed
brian stann fight is a huge disappointment
this carlos condit is getting a good fight from the last samuri
Alright Carlos Condit way to work through it.
brock larson look good but man the last samuri had some mad judo skills
Awsome fight condit has a huge heart…I dont want to hear everyone talk sht about carlos because he didnt finish him in the 1st the last samuri is no joke in my opnion he’s as good as Larson
WOW! How the f does WEC deliver great cards every time? This card was great and any of you who missed it need to find a w to watch ASAP.
Bowles submission was very nice. I thought he was going to get slammed but he locked on like a python with arms and legs. That choke was deep.
Last Samuri is a badass fighter. He never quit and his early takedowns had me thinking Condit was going to lose Condit proved why he is the champ in the end. That has to be fight of the night and one of the best wars this year.
I agree guys, it was a GREAT card. Condit-Miura is definitely a “Fight of the Year” candidate.
i missed it, i dont have vs but i wish stann got to defend. aw well it happens!
I think I went 4-6 las night with Prater and Miller being kind of freaky. If you missed it you missed out.The smaller cage make all the difference. Long live the WEC!
MAN THE CONDIT FIGHT WAS BAD A$$. I HAVE TO SAY I GOT A LITTLE WORRIED A FEW TIMES
Haven’t seen it yet, watching tonight but my picks were pathetic. Glad I wasn’t the only one missing the calls *cough Dietrich cough* hehe
Dannyboy,
I watched it again while I was going to bed last night and all I can say is WOW! Sitll just WOW! Enjoy….. Every single match was better than good. I have no words to express how much I enjoyed that show. It would have been great to be there live and something I’d never forget. I’m anxious to see the Last Samuri return. Condit had me at the dge of my seat…..you’ll see why very soon.
YZFox,
Condit! Condit! That was great wasn’t it? Grispi may have got the early stoppage call but his punch to Miller’s temple made Miller look like a human turning into a baby deer learing to walk. Herb did indeed protect the fighter. Chances are Miller could have defended for a few seconds but I don’t think he was going to be able to fight back. When he turned to his back he was just kicking his legs in desperation and took a nasty punch to the face. Great card.
ACTUALLY SAD TO SAY. BUT I MISSED THE REST OF THE CARD EXCEPT THE MAIN DO TO THE FACT THE GIRL WANTED TO SEE THE NEW BATMAN. BUT I WISH I WOULD HAVE WATCHED THIS CARD… OH WELL I GOT TO SEE ONE AWSOME FIGHT..
About to leave work now and head home and watch it while some people finish fixing my floor.
KOuch you got me excited so you better be right!
I’ve always liked the smaller cage. Wonder how Kalib Starnes would have done with a small cage in that one fight. I’m sure I would have seen blood and maybe even some guts.
this is awesome considering how many people were on stann’s jock when he won the title.
Aww give Stann a break it was his six or seventh fight. Did anyone else find it wierd during their first fight Stann was way more muscular than Cantwell and yesterday Cantwell looked like he was bigger *cough cough cough Roids cough* excuse me, but WEC is just as exciting as the UFC and not to mention Frank Mir is way better commentator then Joe Rogan
i’m not given stann a hard time. i was actually impressed with his take down defense. i’m just given everyone else a hard time that said he could hang in the ufc lhw division when he beat doug marshall. as for mir, i thought he did pretty well yesterday, but i still like rogan.
Dannyboy,
We were the only ones to even make picks known so no one can say a thing…:)
Dannyboy,
Thank your uncle for his service to the country…
this was my first time watching wec and i must say it was very impressive, Brock Larson killing Carlo Prater good show
segablack,
Man you have been missing out. Watching it is great but To be at the Hard Rock is an amazing thing. When they show Pulver Swanson you don’t get the vibe off of Tv like it was in there. Pulver was walking out to be fed to the lions they HATED him. It was a pure Cub audience…WoW. Now when you see that fight you will understand everything that happened in the cage. That is just one fight You have dozens to get caught up on…
Watched it and you guys were right. Great night of fights.
The joint is a great outlet for MMA. My timeshare in vegas is right next to the Hard Rock but everytime we go I miss out on getting to see an event. Ah well, maybe next time.
Dannyboy,
Timeshare…You mean new residence…
UFC Nazi Party at Dannyboy’s timeshare next UFN…YEAHHHH!!!!!
