I didn’t even know Baroni was fighting again but DAMN! Didn’t he KO the last bum in rd1 too? By looking at the results, this event looked like it was pretty exciting. “Cuesta unable to comntinue due to low blow.” How hard did he get hit and was it a kick or punch? I remember Alssio Sakara getting kicked in the testes and having to be taken out on a stretcher. Just terrible……I don’t want to imagine. Too bad matches end up that way but accidents happen and it is a combat sport.

  • Dannyboy says:

Certainly it’s a worst nightmare situation for the fighters. Makes me gringe just thinking about how hard I’d have to be hit to be taken out on a stretcher. UGH!

Glad to see Baroni can still knock out the guys from bumfights. I like the kid and it sucks he let’s his ego run him so much that it affects his fighting.

  • Dietrich says:

    Looks like a good night.Sydney Silva won…Sweet!

  • JOHNBOY says:

baroni seems to have got his acted together, hope to see him back in the ufc pritty soon the guy has sick knock out power

  • KOuch says:

    Johnboy,

We should take Baroni’s last two opponents into consideration. Do you know anything about them? Then again Baroni has dropped weight right? You’d take Baroni over Bisping any day of the week wouldn’t you?

  • Dannyboy says:

Yeah he dropped weight which is a smart thing.

I’d take Baroni over Bisping if i followed my heart…however I follow my brain so I know my opinion is that Bisping would handle him right now.

I know Baroni hates having one of the best knockouts in the UFC but not able to compete at that level anymore.

  • JOHNBOY says:

the count is on a diffrent level and i think baroni fights at 170 not to sure tho. and KOuch u can only beat whats put in front of you, just like i keep telling all these closet bisping fans who act like they hate him when rly they kiss his poster good night every night

  • Tspence says:

they should just change the name of this site to bispingfrenzy , hes mentioned quite often, i wonder if one of you guys are actually him???lol

And yeah baroni seems like he might be getting his act together and taking the fight game more serious.but he also might be fighting bums to get a good record, he went real downhill for a while. and the shamrock baroni fights is one of my all time favourites!

  • KOuch says:

    JonhBoy,

I have a Bisping poster on my ceiling above my bed. My wife hates it but she knows how much joy I get out it.

  • JOHNBOY says:

yeah and im guessing she’d want to keep u happy unless ur pet dwarf may bite her
