I really dont see Kenny winning this fight. I’m sure Roger got a wake up call after getting caught a few times by Guida… He’s not gonna take this fight lightly…
I don’t know why people don’t give Roger Huerta any respect. Roger has this fight down, and he will defeat Florian in the first round - I want a ko, but I think it will be a tko. The only bad thing for Roger, is that it is his firt fight of the year, last year he fought five times - once every 8.5 weeks.

He’s right about techincal advantage but what good does that do when Huerta cracks KenFlo with his smooth 1-2 combo? I still think Florian is more well rounded and technical giving him all the upper hand in this match. Huerta without a doubt is the underdog but at the same time he never quits. Look at his fight against Guida. KenFlo is better than Guida but can he really keep the stamina, endurance and insanity Guida brought to the cage? I don’t think so….maybe I’m wrong. If they stand I think Huerta can land one clean punch and win by G&P. On the ground Huerta is absolutely F-d. Huerta has his work cut out for him in this match. Toughest match of his career. KenFlo has a record with much more talented fighters on it. Whether he won or lost doesn’t matter when it comes to experience and fighting a fighter like Huerta. Huerta is one of my favorites and I hope he wins. Just don’t think he will. In my opinion…..DellaGrotte came across like a cocky prick.
I still dont think huerta is gonna win…florian has got this…..plus i really dont like huerta for some reason i think its because he is the next posterboy for the ufc and i dont think he has earned that status yet…but florian going five rounds with sherk is enough proof for me that he can go 3 with huerta and survive and hopefully win
Huerta is the underdog which means all the ****talk is not needed by a professional. It makes me wonder if something is wrong with KenFlo.
i do thinks that both kenny isnt much of a trash talker..he’s pretty mellow and cool but dellagrotte shouldnt run his mouth he said the same thing about marcus davis fighting mike swick…..i do think huerta is acting like a jerk to though in an interview on ufc.com he said the truth is im never gonna lose!…now i could be wrong but i really dont see kenny or roger getting even close to beating bj…bj will like there blood for sustinense

KenFlo is probably healthy but maybe you have a good point there. I think it comes down to DellaGrotte just being a prick with sand in his vagine.

You’re right. KenFlo has a very nice personality. I think he has a future in commentating when his career is done. BJ is one of the best P4P fighters in the world. I can think of 5 or more guys I’d love to see him fight in the LW division but none that I see being victorious. BJ is just a badass mother f-er.

Maynard is cool. Off the top of my head without thinking too deep into it I’d say Maynard might be one of the most dominant if not the most dominant wrestler in the division. I mean…he’s no Jake Shields but he definitely has a bright future ahead of him. As lon as he steers clear of injury and continues on his path, I’d go as far as to say he will be a better more well rounded fighter than Huerta by the end of both of their careers. Maynard is definitely a fighter I enjoy watching. He has a nice technicle calmness to his style.

I have Roger Huerta as one of my top 5 favorite LW fighters, but he is facing his greatest test in KenFlo (Who I dislike a lot for some reason, its prolly more the camp he trains with that makes me dislike more than anything else) There is Zero percent chance Roger KO’s him, seeing as he has yet to do that in any of his fights. Florian destoryed Joe Lauzon and IMO Lauzon is better than any of the competition Huerta has beat. Roger has great striking speed (lacks KO power) and underrated BJJ defense, but if it goes to the ground I think Florian has to much BJJ experience and will eventually he could catch him in something. With that said I do have it Florian by unanimous desicion.
i think this is a 50 50 fight i mean they are both great but i will give the record to kenny cause he has fought guys at the top unlike roger who really is in charge of handling the ufc debut guys

he will run over roger. i’m a bit huerta fan to bc the guy has good fights but he’ll get ruined by florian. huerta hasnt really fought anyone to difficult. guida was his toughest yet and should have won that fight but roger’s heart took him out. i just dont see that happening against florian who fights with alot of heart. who bashed him against his fight with diego? he fought that fight (the whole ultimate fighter 1) at 185! the guy fights at 155.
i see most of the people who picked irvin winning over silva picking huerta over kenny. this site makes me laugh some times

what about huerta makes you say that dietrich? he’s well rounded but doesnt have great hands or subs. i like huerta bc he fights with heart but in the lw he wont ever be able to take down the bigs in the ufc. kenny will dominate. my question is; after bj beats this winner who will take on penn? nobody could mess with bj in that division and i’d love to see him take on gsp for that belt. bj beat him up the first fight but it went to decision and lost. both are different fighters now and it would be a war
i truly hope kenny florian gets wrecked by rodger huerta knockout if possible, florian is such a bi,tch and deserved to lose. submission would be a good way for florian to win hes a lil queer and fights gay like that. huertas fights are always entertaining and hes a tough mofo
i used t hate ken-flo but hes won me over i now im a fan of the guy and i think he will kick huerta ass, i see him takeing him down getting his back and chokeing the guy out, no way he or any1 is going to beat BJ tho

I think BJ will leave the division as there is more for him at other weights(170). My opinion on Huerta ….I think Huerta is alot like Guillard(except Huerta has his head on straight) and GSP(except GSP has been through some wars).Huerta just does things you can not teach he transcends the physical chess match. A couple of wars with the masters(champions) and he will find himself.

I just don’t like that BJ couldn’t beat hughes at 170. Of course he’s MUCH more in shape now and only lost cause he gassed…. I Don’t see BJ gassing again in a fight for a few years. He’s back to the BJ of old that destroyed Caol Uno so fast.

Heurta is a good fighter and he definately needs this fight. He has had relatively low competition and that is why he always seems to dominate. The Guida fight showed he was atleast good enough to be in the top 10, but I unfortunately believe that he is over matched in this fight. Florian can probably beat him in any area of the fight.
My call is Florian wins by ground and pound in the second round, though I would love to see Heurta get the KO in the first.
