TapouT Announces Sponsorship of Kimbo Slice
TapouT, the premier mixed martial arts apparel, gear and lifestyle brand, announced today that the company will sponsor MMA superstar Kimbo Slice and create a joint apparel line under the TapouT brand. TapouT will be Kimbo’s exclusive apparel sponsor.

Dana won’t touch them as long as they don’t try to become promoters.Affliction started it with the UFC.Plus Dana knows he will probably see Kimbo in their cage one day.
Unfortunately, Kimbo can be a big money maker for TAPOUT. The Tapout guys seem like great guys but I wonder if it’s more about “money” now than it is sponsoring fighters for the good of the fighter and sport.

I think it is real good for Tapout. They can get there name out into the african-american market, which Kimbo is hugely popular in. Tapout also doesn’t have its own promotion like Affliction, so I don’t think it will cause any problem.
tapout is not starting a freaking fight organization like affliction did.

its a good buisness move for TAPOUT cuz every asshole whos neva watched mma knos kimbo and asks me the standard series of questions bout him so that means theres plenty of assholes to buy his shirts and he cant b on the tapout show cuz to b on tapout u have to b a YOUNG up and comer not a 40 yr old dude who got famous by beatin people up in the backyard and as for him coming to the ufc 1 question y i saw him get his ass kicked by thomson i dont need to see him get demolished unless they want to bring him in for 1 fight so cain valesquez can end his delusions that hes a MMA fighter and can hang wit the big dogs

Just gotta throw this out there, but does anyone else find the Tapout guys annoying as hell?!?! Besides Punkass, the other guys are obnoxious and dont seem to know that much about fighting. Second, put kimbo in the ring with Fedor so we can his hype!

Never Say Never…Money is Money….Even with Kimbo…If they don’t discredit him on their own and he holds any value after XC folds he gets a three fight deal.
How fitting. Now when Kimbo taps out in his next fight and the ref ignores it he can just point to his shorts.
