But why throw yourself halfway across the octagon after a finger to the eye??? Scott Smith got a viscious finger to the eye and didnt react like that. If Johnson woulda reacted like Smith, he would have gotten time to recover as well. But instead threw himself across the cage as if Fedor caught him with an uppercut. Love the acting there... Instead of throwing closed fist punches, he was throwing palm punches. Palm punches hurt a lot more, but when you're throwing them, the odds of a finger poke are so much more likely...
