No, he is still a superbowl champ and owns pretty much every QB record you can have. At the end of the day he is still top 5 all time. Hughes is similar, he is the G.O.A.T, the greatest of all time at his weight. you can't argue that and he will always be known as that, no matter if he continues to fight and has a .500 record or loses 3 more. His last few fights have been disappointing and to go out on that note would be sad. But if he does fight again I think he runs the risk of tarnishing his legacy.
