Ok. Time for me to eat a little crow here. I said in a previous thread that James Irvin was going to knock out Anderson Silva. I also said if I was wrong, I would man up and admit it. I am doing that now. I WAS WRONG! That was a more dominating victory than I would have thought. Kudos to Silva. Having said that, Anderson is not going to dominate the 205 like he has the 185. He may have gotten past Irvin but soon he is going to hit a wall. I believe it will be Wanderlai or Chuck. Oddly, I think a fight between Anderson and H. Alexander would be interesting. Am I alone here?

silva vs fedor would be interesting, but its not fair to expect silva to perform that well with such a large weight disadvantage. i dont think it would be much of a fight (fedor would probably make relatively short work). not to mention that anderson struggles against people with a strong ground game, and we all know fedor’s strength.

both promotions had their ups and downs, and i hope that affliction hangs around.

vera will become good i think he just needed to get that win after 2 losses, if he pushes the pace rather then waits to counter he will be hard to stop at 205, he just needs to belive in himself more,

Honestly, Brandon Vera is probably the most boring fighter in the UFC. This fight was on par as awful as his fight vs Sylvia, and that thing was a piece o crap.

I know it was a Fight Night, not a PPV, and yada yada yada. Seriously, the guy is awful.

Fedor can be arogant he’s awesome and wins. He can be a jerk all he wants if he puts on a show like how he destroyed Timmy. Silva is awesome too, I knew he would destroy Irvin, but I didnt think it be that quick. Markhams KO was great.

This card was pretty boring. However, I was glad to see Frankie Edgar pick up a big win against Franca as well as CB Dallaway get a big win against Taylor.

That was an awesome submission move Cb pulled of. I’ve never seen that move before. I’m sure we will start seeing everyone use that move now.

I was very disappointed in the Vera fight. I expected Vera to be explosive ecspecially after what happened to him in his last fight, but unfortunately he seem gunshy in there. He was slow to pull the trigger. Obviously the weight loss had a big effect on him.

The Spider reigns supreme!! This guy is a bad dude man! I did’t not expect him to look that dominate over Irvin. I figured he would win, but I was sure that this was going to be his toughest fight ever, but he destroyed this guy with ease! His power seemed even more deadilier at 205 than at 185. I’m glad that Andersen is goin to remain at 185 and defend his title down there. I still want to see him get a rematch with Okami and possibly a match against Bisping.
