A fired up Nick Diaz spoke with UFC Tonight analyst Ariel Helwani after his loss to Georges St-Pierre at UFC 158. Following the loss, Diaz appears to be heading towards either retirement or a rematch with GSP.

If he wants to continue i think he can beat a lot of top guys and make a go of this for sure. His style would pose a problem to most WW’s.
I would purchase several wolf tickets AND eat them up prior to watching a rematch of GSP/Diaz
Unless Nick gets past the athletic commission this time around, and can beat a couple of top WW’s in impressive fashion (possibly Condit, MacDonald, Ellenberger, or Maia), he’ll never get another shot at Georges.
Truth is, besides GSP, he is definitely the most marketable fighter in the division and the only other guy who can properly headline $$$ a PPV card at WW (outside of a title fight). I guess we’ll see what pans out.
Nick Diaz at least steps in the cage and backs up his talk unlike guys who just talked like Tito Ortiz. You guy’s have to admit that he has a who’s who of a KO list. Pair him up again & it’ll be $$$$
Where you at George, where you at Boy!
Diaz is the ww champ of excuses. What kind of a pathetic loser talks shit even after getting his ass handed to him.. I wolda won but he kept punching me in the face… I woulda won but he kept taking me down.. If I had a better training camp I woulda won… I don’t wana fight any other UFC ww fighters cuz I can’t beat them either…
Just give up Diaz, nobody wants to see hear your crying anymore.
I’d like to see a rematch. Coming off a loss and a year long layoff Diaz didn’t look the part. He did deal some damage and stuff some takedowns. I’d like to see what he does now with the rust gone. After Hendricks puts gsp to sleep, they will fight again
.
Exactly, none of the GSP fanatics like to mention that ol’ Georges called Nick out while he was on a year layoff from competition. It makes it even more humorous that Georges recently “complemented” Silva for taking the Weidman fight with Chris coming off a lengthy layoff, stating that it was a smart move on his part, lol.
Indeed!
