Delorme (8-1) gets to fight in front of his hometown crowd. The Manitoban is looking to rebound from his first promotional loss to Francisco Rivera, which was overturned and changed to a no contest. Prior to that bout, “Stunning” had taken back-to-back rear-naked choke victories over Josh Ferguson and Nick Denis.
Figueroa (9-2) is looking to rebound from a devastating knockout loss to the aforementioned Rivera. The loss snapped a two-fight win-streak for “El Feroz”. The Texan has taken victories over Jason Reinhardt and Alex Caceres during his UFC tenure.
UFC 161 takes place June 15 at MPS Centre in Winnipeg.
