Picture 1 of 7

As the UFC took the Wembley Arena for UFC on Fuel TV 7, the evening's winners find themselves one step up in the food chain.

The bill's main card saw a little bit of everything take place, but now it's time to put on Joe SIlva's shoes and see what may come next.

Riddle is a disgusting fighter, I hate him.
He said he was going to “bang” in the press conference, the first thing he did was shoot.

    • DrDoom says:

Switching your game or adjusting tactics … whatever way you want to say it … is the best way to fight . Riddle did what great fighters do . So it wasnt what he said he would do . He still won .

      • undercover says:

Then why say you are gonna fight standing? You’re lying and disappointing the fans.

I wouldn’t have mind seeing him try to fight standing then later adjust.

Like great fighters do? He had hardly nothing to lose.
He still hasn’t impress me, and he never won against a top 10 fighter.

  • Kobe says:

Maybe Riddle has never won against a top ten fighter because he has never even fought a top ten guy, so that kind of makes that impossible. You also have to remember that Riddle has fought his entire professional career inside the UFC which is extremely rare, most fighters that are in the UFC have at least 5 to 10 professional fights outside of the organization first.

You also have to think that when one guy says he is gonna bang in a fight you the fan are not the only one listening, his opponent can also listen to what he is saying.

Maybe if he had more (impressive) wins, he would have had higher ranked opponents.

All his fights are in the ufc, what does that have to do how him grinding out a win? So does Sadollah, he seems a lot more exciting to watch.

Riddle is not an elite fighter .. but when any top 10 guy switches up and does what Riddle did wins , most wont complain .

      • Chris Leslie says:

Only thing that really matters when you’re outside the top ten is winning and that you perform when the time comes. Also, your check doubles when you win, not when your brain is in the front row after a squaring up with some light years ahead of you striking wise. It’s not sexy, but it wins.

Also, if we got mad at fighters for what they said in preflight interviews there would maybe be three fighters in all of history that weren’t hated.

I remember Maia and Guida getting grief a few weeks ago, who both are top 10 fighters.

The thing is, he fights like this almost every time. I was kinda expected it, but then he says he going to bang.

  • Jesse Denis says:

@undercover Guida got grief because he didn’t win that fight. According to Riddle, he came out with the intention of striking, but after a while he noticed he had nothing for Che Mills on the feet and went back to his wrestling.

    • undercover says:

That’s where you are wrong, like I said earlier: I wouldn’t have mind seeing him try to fight standing then later adjust.
He went for the shot in 15 seconds for Christ’s sake.

Guida and Maia were only examples that happened in the past weeks. There are a lot of fighters that get grief for grinding out a win, even GSP.
