A bantamweight bout that pits Marlon Moraes against Tyson Nam has been signed for the sophomore offering of World Series of Fighting. The young promotion has yet to make a formal announcement as to the location of their second event, which is slated to take place on March 23.
MMA Junkie first reported the news.
Moraes (9-4) is currently riding a three-fight win-streak. Prior to scoring the split decision upset over Miguel Torres, The Armory product put down Bellator veteran Jarrod Card in the XFC cage. The heavy-handed Brazilian will now welcome Tyson Nam to the promotion.
Nam (12-4) is no stranger to upsets, having recently knocked out Bellator’s bantamweight king Eduardo Dantas in Brazil in August. The Hawaiian currently rides a four-fight win-streak and will look to continue his rise up the 135 lb. ranks.
