What Now? UFC 156
Picture 1 of 6
Sometimes it doesn't pay to be the favorite and UFC 156 was one of those nights. The event saw a slew of upsets on the main card, giving a new look to many of the promotion's divisions and completely derailing some plans for the future.
The time to put on Joe Silva's shoes and see what comes next for the winners of the night is now.

To me this was probably the most insane card i’ve actually ever seen, i’m genuinly really good at calling fights normaly, i got 10 out of 11 fights on the last card right but oh sh!t this mad no sense to me. I got 0 out of 5 right on the maincard… crazy sh!t
I feel ya Hmiley. Should have bet the house on Big Foot. He pulled a Matt Serra Vs GSP IMO…
Pettis needs to stay at 55. he’ll be champ. aldos better than bendo
I wonder if Pettis doesn’t want to wait until after Henderson vs Melendez for his title shot and thinks a bout with Aldo could be put together sooner. He might also be thinking he can beat Aldo, and then go back to LW and take that belt as well and be the first guy to hold belts in 2 seperate weight classes at the same time.
also remember that if Alvarez were to win the lawsuit with Bellator, the UFC would have a contractually obligated shot going to Alvarez as well
