MMAFrenzy kicks off our coverage of UFC 156 with our recap of tonight’s two-fight Facebook card recap. The highlight of the two-fight card was a wicked brawl between Francisco Rivera and Edwin Figueroa. In other action, Chico Camus kept playing with fire and eventually was burned by Dustin Kimura in the final Facebook prelim.

Kimura Submits Camus
Dustin Kimura’s ground game was the difference in tonight’s bout with Chico Camus. The Roufusport product was controlling the fight on his feet but still felt the need to take Kimura down and kept narrowly avoiding disaster in the first and second rounds. Kimura would eventually catch the fighter after a terrible takedown attempt by Camus allowed the Hawaiian to take his back and submit him in the third round.
Rivera Bounces Back to Destroy Figueroa
Francisco Rivera had to comeback in both the first and second rounds tonight against Edwin Figueroa but ended up on the right end of a TKO victory. Rivera was crushed by a huge left hook from Figueroa and it appeared that the bout as all but over. However “Cisco” would recover and battle back strong. In the second, a tiring Figueroa left himself open and paid dearly for it. Cisco rocked Figueroa against the cage and then poured it on to put away the Texan.
