The UFC on FX 7 press conference got a little heated today as middleweight challengers Michael Bisping and Vitor Belfort nearly came to blows earlier today during the staredown. The two fighters picked at each other for most of the conference but Belfort’s aggressive stance in the staredown only escalated the tension in the room. The UFC released a video of the staredown earlier today.
After the near-confrontation, Belfort yelled at Bisping while the Brit was held at bay by UFC staff members. Bisping would trash the Brazilian in followup interviews attributing the dustup to “‘roid rage”on the hometown fighter’s part.
The two will again face off at tomorrow’s weigh-ins, where the UFC will assuredly have more people on hand to keep the fighters out of a zone of danger prior to their scheduled Saturday meeting.

How does the UFC give these guys insurance?
@jessedenis paging Dr. Loggins…
Belfort was just pumped because the fight is in Brazil, and Bisping always has a short fuse so not suprising it got intense.
idk when someone sticks there fist in your face and contacts u its gonna create a pisff fighof the time. Vitor has an option to leave a little personal space in between.
Vitor’s fist was already up and there. Bushing walked into it as an excuse to be douchey.
Its all about selling tickets. I am glad to see Vitor come out like a Lion instead of like a sheep when he faced of against AS. Bisping is 23-4 and Belfort is 21-10, but this fight appears to a toss-up and a real war. I can’t wait until they square off.
