UFC welterweight Duane Ludwig has accepted the head coach’s position at Team Alpha Male. The move possibly signals the end of the line for the MMA veteran’s twelve yearlong MMA career. Ludwig will undergo knee surgery next week to repair the knee he injured at UFC on FUEL TV 6.
ESPN first reported the move, which has been confirmed by multiple sources since.
Ludwig brings many years of MMA and Muay Thai experience to his new role. “Bang” will move to Sacramento, California in January to begin his coaching duties.
Ludwig will be taking over for Thonglor “Master Thong” Armatsena when he heads to Team Alpha Male.

Good for Ludwig, it is good see fighters have options after thier fighting career and not be forced back into the cage to make a living
Not a bad gig at all, the fighters there are all top level, I can definitely see him round out their overall games.
as long as those frat boys aren’t in urijahs corner anymore. id like to have seen a better name as head coach.
What is Master Thong’s new role?
