Bellator’s woes continue as the promotion’s seventh season suffers yet another blow. After having last week’s main event canceled, Bellator 84 also finds itself missing out on a tournament final as lightweights Marcin Held and Dave Jansen have been pulled from the bill.
MMA Report’s Jason Floyd confirmed that the lightweight tilt was cancelled and moved to season 8 as the Horseshoe in Hammond, Indiana wouldn’t let Marcin Held compete as he is only 20 years old, therefore ineligible for entrance to the casino.

And this was something that was not thought about before?
Haven’t received the full details yet but I do know that most promotions (including the UFC) wait until the last week to submit paperwork to the commissions. So chances are it wasn’t brought up until they were doing some pre-fight screenings and the commission found out his age and nixed it.
But at the same time, that should be something that someone in Bellator should have thought of originally.
The officials for the state’s gaming commission intervened five hours prior to the start of the card are made of evident assholes, Held came to fight not to gamble!
Apparently they expected fast money (bribe!)
They should be individually charged with all financial damages!
Sue them!
Now all should boycott that casino so casino put a bend on the brains of those assholes!
No, actually, the laws of the State of Indiana don’t allow anyone under the age of 21 inside a casino. If the fighting area is inside the casino, then technically, he isn’t allowed into the arena. It’s stupid, but the rules are the rules.
