A lightweight tilt has been added to the UFC’s Super Bowl Weekend offering as Evan Dunham and Gleison Tibau will be mixing it up at UFC 156, which takes place February 2 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
Dunaham (13-3) is coming off of a loss to T.J. Grant in a “Fight of The Night” winning effort. Prior to the setback, the Oregonian took back-to-back wins over Nik Lentz and Shamar Bailey. Dunham looks to reposition himself as a top lightweight with a win over the ATT product.
Tibau (26-8)is coming off of a win in a battle over countryman Francisco “Massaranduba”, rebounding from a loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov in July. The perennial lightweight looks to put together another run after taking three consecutive victories in 2011.
UFC 156 is headlined by UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo taking on former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar.
