Dana White seems to be long passed the point of frustration with the UFC’s injury woes; yet another fight has bitten the dust as former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Forrest Griffin is out of a UFC 155 bout on December 29 against Phil Davis. The UFC president announced the injury via twitter, saying, “Forrest Has MCL tear and ACL strain. 20 cc’s of blood removed from his knee and the saga continues at the UFC!”
Griffin (19-7) is coming off of a unanimous decision win over Tito Ortiz in the wrestler’s retirement bout, his sole fight this year. Griffin went 1-1 in 2011, taking a unanimous decision over Rich Franklin and losing via first-round knockout to “Shogun” Rua.
White has yet to announce who will step in to meet Davis, or if “Mr. Wonderful” will even remain on the bill.

Drat…… another F***ing injury, I hope Davis still stays on the card, I know Bader just signed to fight Matsyushenko, but I would love to see Bader step up and take this fight. Or what about Cyrille Diabate?
I’m with Bader. Not so much “The Snake” I don’t need to see Phil fight another striker, I want to see him fight someone more well-rounded after the Rashad loss.
Let Phil & Glover go at it
Glover is co-headlining fox 6
The glover fight would be dumb right now with his rampage fight. I would like to see them bring gegard.
Good idea!
Gegard Mousasi is a top contender.
Maybe Vera could fight, dana loves him
Unfortunately I believe Vera and Davis are training partners.
Forrest is done he needs to retire
Other options I would like would be Vinny with his BJJ it would make it interesting. Also Rumble Johnson if they would bring him back.
Vinny had been in talks for 156, not sure if he’d want to switch off.
-Tito is being rumored also, this actually is a winnable fight for him but Davis should still take it
-Rumble back at 205
-Vera
