UFC on Fox 5 Update: Chisea Off Card With Illness

Less than a week after being named the new FX headliner, TUF Live champion Mike Chisea has been pulled from the UFC on Fox 5 undercard with illness. The bout will be pulled from the undercard due to the cancelation’s proximity to Saturday’s card. The UFC announced the move via twitter.

Chiesa and LeVesseur had been named the FX undercard headliner last week after Lavar Johnson was scrapped from the card due to injury. A bout between Jeremy Stephens and Yves Edwards – originally set to headline the UFC on FX 5 undercard – will now closeout the FX fight card.

The four-fight main card of UFC on Fox 5 will be headlined by a UFC lightweight title fight between Ben Henderson and Nate Diaz. The card will also feature a light heavyweight tilt between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Alexander Gustaffson. The card will take place December 8 at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington.
