Score Fighting Series 7 Results

While the US MMA world was largely dormant this weekend for the Thanksgiving weekend, Canadian promotion Score Fighting Series showcased some promising talent in Hamilton, Ontario.The event aired live on AXS TV.

Strikeforce welterweight prospect Jordan Mein did not disappoint while on loan, knocking out UFC veteran Forrest Petz in the first round. The win brings Mein to 8-1 in his last nine, with the lone loss coming to former Strikeforce welterweight contender Tyron Woodley.

Fellow Canadian prospect Jesse Ronson picked up his seventh straight victory by battering WEC veteran Ryan Healy for three rounds. Ronson then told the Canadian crowd that “All I want for Christmas is that UFC contract, but who knows what’s going to happen?”
