Definitely a fight I want to see. Hope it happens…. By rankings, Diego should win but I’d give the upper hand to fat ass Alves. I know Diego is badass but I want to see him win another 2-3 fights in a row before I get excited about him as the new contender.

Ya its kind of sad Alves finishes Karo then Hughes with knees and everyone whats to give him a can for the number one contender shot at GSP/Fitch?? If he loses to Diego then he really shouldn’t be the number one contender? This is a good fight that UK got screwed out of here this was one of the main reasons for me to buy this event. If Diego beats Alves then give him a shot or make him fight Hazelett or Swick or Karo or Koscheck or Hughes or even Serra. Even tho I think Hughes Vs. Serra comes first. Plus If Alves beats Sanchez then he has Karo/Hughes/Sanchez under his belt.. Thats definitely a title plus some good experience.
