Head coaches for the forthcoming second installment of “The Ultimate Figher: Brazil” have selected their coaching staff as Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum announced the list of the men backing them.
Nogueira, who coached the eighth season The Ultimate Fighter opposite Frank Mir, brings with him boxing coach Luiz Dorea, jiu-jitsu coach Everaldo Penco, wrestling coach Eric Albarracin, Muay Thai coach Sheymon Moraes and kickboxing coach Vitor Miranda.
On the other side of the battle lines is Werdum’s team, which features one very familiar face in Former Pride Middleweight Champion Wanderlei Silva, who “Vai Cavalo” assisted in the show’s inaugural season. “The Ax Murderer” will serve as the MMA coach for Team Werdum, accompanied by Muay Thai coach Rafael Cordeiro, jiu-jitsu coach Rubens Cobrinha, wrestling coach Kenny Johnson and Capoeira coach Felipe Werdum.
Tuf Brazil 2 is scheduled to begin filming in the early stages of the coming year making it on air by March. As with the first season, the series will air on Globo in Brazil, while UFC.com and FUEL TV will carry it on delay in the United States.
