Jeremy Horn vs. Wilson Gouveia Added To UFC Fight Night 15
The UFC has added a middleweight bout between Jeremy Horn and Wilson Gouveia to the main card of UFC Fight Night 15.
UFC Fight Night 15 “Diaz vs. Neer” takes place on September 17th at the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska and will air on Spike TV.
Horn (88-15-5) is one of the sport’s most active fighters, having fought in more than 100 bouts over his MMA career, which spans back to 1996, but has lost three-striaight bouts and four of his last five. “Gumby” was defeated by Nate Marquardt via second-round guillotine at UFC 81 in February and was submitted by Dean Lister in his most recent bout at The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale in June.
Gouveia (10-5), a member of American Top Team, had won four-straight bouts inside the octagon before losing to Goran Reljic at UFC 84 in May.
Nate Diaz vs. Josh Neer, Clay Guida vs. Mac Danzig, Houston Alexander vs. Eric Schafer, Ed Herman vs. Alan Belcher, and Joe Lauzon vs. Kyle Bradley are also slated for the main card.

haha i was right……gouveia ko rnd 1!
Man…..Horn has such a long history I hate seeing him lose. He’s definitley not the fighter he use to be and I’m not sure how many more loses the UFC will allow him before he gets cut. I don’t want him to lose…..that’s for sure.
Another sweet little card forming here, as are the rest of the ufc cards this year
ufc has to step it up with the good fight cards…
Good move Harn and Alexander both had to be on this card. I haven’t heard anything but you never know this could be Jeremy’s last fight and I could think of no better place then in front of his family and friends….
HArn=Horn…Yesterday it was me today its the keyboard…tomorrow OPEC?
I liked the idea of Horn fighting Evan Tanner. Both have been around forever and seem to be past their prime. Might be a good battle.
I would like to see Horn and Tanner. They both are fighter that I want to watch and want to win, but both are getting to be late in their careers. The loser should hang his gloves gracefully and say farewell. But that fight isn’t planned, so we can watch both of them get beat up by the young guys some more. Shame.
has evan tanner retired yet i thought for sure after losing to kendal
is gouvia droppin down cuz last i checked he was a lhw and i think i even had him ranked like mayb 3 spots out of the top 10 before the cro crop clone knocked him out dont b like everyone else and drop down cuz u got ur ass whooped in ur last fight
UFC 89 looked like a awesome card with Thiago Alves Vs. Diego Sanchez … now it still looks bad what Machida vs Silva not that bad , your average mma fans aren’t really into Machida fights. I personnally like Machidas strike and take no damage skills. Leben Vs. Bisping main event yaaaaaaaaaa…. not for +40$, the only thing which really made me what to see this card was Diego Vs. Alves two young aggressive fighters looking for their title shot
sorry to go off the subject, has anyone heard what’s happening to the UFC 89 fight between Diego Sanchez vs Thiago Alves ? can’t see it there anymore.
sorry !
this is a pretty stacked card i think. they have some better fights on here then most PPV
