UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos dropped by “UFC Tonight” to talk with hosts Todd Harris and Kenny Florian this past Tuesday. Dos Santos talked about his upcoming UFC 155 rematch with Cain Velasquez and had a few harsh words for former Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem.
The UFC’s yearend fight card will take place December 29 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The UFC 155 bill will be headlined by the heavyweight title rematch between Dos Santos and Velasquez.

“I’m The Baddest Man On The Planet”
MK4 thinks Alistair Overeem might have something to say about that buddy…….
I’m sure Cain Velasquez does too.
Those two might think they have something to say about that but neither are going to do anything to say otherwise.
Such a great guy and a wonderful ambassador for the sport. Sure Reem might have something to say about it from his couch. Don’t cheat and you can prove that statement wrong. Unfortunately at this moment, Cain cannot say anything about it because he lasted all of what, 60 seconds.
I am very much looking forward to this fight and seeing JDS knock Cain out once again. Step aside Iron Mike, there’s a new Baddest Man on the Planet.
JUNIOR DOS SANTOS WILL DEFEANT ANY HW IN THE UFC!
Overeem and Cain would like to have a word with him… or an Uberknee :)
A now health Cain has something to say now…
You also had a virtual deadlock fight against Roy Nelson. Yawn.
virtual deadlock? it was a 30-26 fight… JDS lead in strikes 148-40 and had a knockdown…
Pretty sure was a JDS takedown in rd. 3 as well.
I suppose Devon somehow thinks Dos Santos fought to a “virtual deadlock” with Carwin as well, since that went to decision too. LOL. Yawn.
U can say a healthy Cain now but it’s alsoa healthy JDS. He was injured to I believe.
He most definitely was, knee injury I believe.
Both fighters had knee injuries going into that fight, with Velasquez’s knee being badly damaged, word was that both had informed the UFC but remained on the card since it was such a big fight since it was the first on Fox.
OK i may have exaggerated it a smidge ;), but it was his closest fight to date, Nelson rocked him harder than anyone has, and looked as good as anyone has against him. it was actually a pretty close fight for most of the match. Even junior admits it was his toughest fight. He’s a beast, I just personally don’t think he’s the best, and therefore talk sh when I hear the hype that he’s the baddest man on the planet.
Hey @learntoread, my name is spelled Devin. Lol
enough said.
Ya i saw him demolish a washed up Carwin coming off major injury and lay off. Sure he beat Cain, but until I see out again, it was a Matt sera special IMO. Wait till Cain and Reem wallop him.
