- A third meeting between recent Strikeforce light heavyweight title challenger Anthony Ruiz and Jeremy Freitag will likely serve as the swing bout for EliteXC “Unfinished Business” on July 26th. [MMAJunkie]
- World Extreme Cagefighting has signed former NCAA wrestling champions Jake Rosholt, Johny Hendricks, and Shane Roller. Rosholt will take on Danillo Villefort in his WEC debut at WEC 36 in September and Hendricks will likely meet Alex Serdyukov at the event while Roller will debut in place of an injured Alex Karalexis at WEC 35 against Todd Moore. - WEC Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber will put his 145-pound title on the line against Mike Brown in the main event of WEC 36 on September 10th at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The event will air live on Versus. [Sherdog]
- Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s court hearing on felony evading, wreckless driving, and hit and run charges will take place on August 15th. [Press-Telegram]
- Robert “Buzz” Berry, who defeated UFC legend Ken Shamrock earlier this year and lost to Neil Grove at Cage Rage 27 last weekend, has retired from MMA.

te guy wo beat berry “grove” could be a good fighter with the right trainin ive seen him fight about 4 times now and hes got skills. after he beat berry he called kimbo out, ive heared nowt but good things about urijah faber but never seen him fight anyone think he could make the 155 in the ufc?
wow really youve never seen urijah faber?!?! thats just ridiculous youtube him immediatly and watch some of his highlight reels but as for goin to 155 i dont see y not the guys a freak of nature and i heard he wants to jump around from featherweight bantamweight and lightweight so he probably could he reminds me alot of BJ Penn where hes so good at everything where u cant really find a weakness in his game

Bummer about Alex being injured. He’s grown as a fighter since TUF 1. Bummer that Filho-Sonnen still isnt confirmed for 9/10.
I’m not a Fihlo fan so I hope whoever he fights kicks his left testicle and pile drives him. Not really…..I just hope he loses.

I have always been quick to defend Dana White, but this is kinda ****ty of him,

Where were you during Chris Lebens ****? I dont like Leben, but Dana is picking and choosing his friends. I seen an interview with Pat Miletich the other day and he made sense too. Pat is not a big fan of Dana either, makes sense. All you long time fans know that Pat Miletich was a LEDGEND in the sport. The first welterweight champion and he held it forever. Go to UFC.com…..do you see anything about Pat? How is Ken Shamrock in the Hall of Fame and not Pat Miletich?? This is the stuff that pisses me off. The man is a ledgend and its growing with the fighters he trains.
hey Fixxer not trying to defend Dana cause he’s a cocky lil **** but I believe Leben’s DUI situation was prior to TUF and it was a violation of the terms of his probation that prevented him from getting a visa for his last fight. As for Miletich I completely agree and honestly I have a feeling if they do purchase the IFL they will try to induct him. It’s just a matter of him accepting the induction then.
