Matt Riddle has stepped up to fill in for an injured Stephen Thompson against Besam Yousef at UFC 154. The bout will take place on the Facebook preliminary card. The UFC announced the move earlier today.
Matt Riddle last fought at UFC 149, where he originally earned a “Submission of the Night” victory over Chris Clements. The result was overturned after Riddle tested positive for marijuana following the fight. Including the no contest, Riddle is now 1-2-1 in his last four bouts.
UFC 154 will signal the return of UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre as he takes on interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit for the undisputed UFC welterweight crown. The card will take place November 17 at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

Why is riddle not suspended and Diaz was?
Riddle’s suspension is over, Diaz’s isn’t. Remember Diaz’s suspension was not only for the test but for it being a second test, lying to the commission, and according to Kizer, trying to alter the test post-fight.
Yeah Diaz and his camp made that twice as bad as that needed to be. Crazy what a difference the time has been, seems like he’s been gone forever!
Riddle is gonna hey back in the winning column pretty easily here.
