Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson is off UFC 154 with injury, the UFC is currently seeking a replacement for his opponent Besam Yousef. MMAFighting first reported the injury to “Wonderboy.”

Thompson will reportedly undergo surgery on Monday to repair a torn meniscus. The welterweight prospect will then be out about eight weeks to recover.

UFC 154 will signal the return of UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre as he takes on interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit for the undisputed UFC welterweight crown. The card will take place November 17 at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
