Hometown fighterKyle Noke will not be able to fight on the UFC’s sixth foray on FX due to injury. The UFC is currently seeking a replacement for the Australian fighter’s opponent, Seth Baczynski. UFC officials announced the move on Thursday.
Noke tweeted on Thursday night that he will require surgery on an injured left shoulder. Said Noke:
I will be having surgery on the 9th of November to repair 2 torn tendons in my left shoulder. Sad to say I will be out of #UFConFX6 @ufc

Thanks to @danawhite and @ufc 4 the opportunity to fight at home in Aust. Sorry I had to withdraw due to injury. Wish I could still make it

A new opponent for “The Polish Pistola” will likely be named soon.
UFC on FX 6 takes place December 14 in Broadbeach, Gold Coast, Australia. The card will be headlined by the “TUF: Australia vs. UK” coaches fight between Ross Pearson and George Sotiropoulos. Middleweights Hector Lombard and Rousimar Palhares will co-headline the December card.

Sucks. That bout had potential.
I was a little suprised with that matchup anyway with Seth having won four in a row with three finishes, and Noke losing two of his last three.
