“Rampage” Accepts Teixeira’s Request, Asks UFC to Make it Happen

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson took to twitter on Sunday to accept Glover Teixeira’s challenge. Teixeira asked to fight Jackson after completely dismantling Fabio Maldonado on last night’s fight card. The two were originally supposed to meet at UFC 153 before Jackson suffered an injury and was forced off the card.
After the one-sided Maldonado fight, Teixeira requested a fight with Jackson, maintaining he is not talking trash but just wants to fight one of his MMA idols.
Said “Rampage:”

This bout should be an easy booking for the UFC depending on “Rampage’s” injury status.
[Update 16:24hrs] UFC President Dana White has responded to Jackson’s request and is clearly on board with the idea.

Yep rampage by ko, I love it! But Glover will do his best to get him down, as he should.
I like Glover’s chances.
Glover is as dangerous as there is but Rampage is sort of tailor made to beat him, with a granite chin, solid wrestling, and good hands with KO power.
Not to mention the burning desire to eat cheeseburgers and not come to the cage ready to fight.
