Tonight’s UFC 153 kicked off on Facebook with a two-fight preliminary from the HSBC Arena. Fighters Chris Camozzi and Cristiano Marcello both notched wins to kick off the night in Brazil.

Camozzi Edges Cane

Chris Camozzi and Luis Cane fought a fantastic fight in the second fight of the night. Camozzi recovered from early danger to win the striking battle against the tough Brazilian fighter. The win for Camozzi marked his third straight win since losing to Francis Carmont in his return to the UFC.

Marcello Edges Madadi in UFC 153 Opener

Cristiano Marcello got a little hometown judging to kick off the night as he defeated Reza Madadi via split decision. The two fighters engaged in a back and forth battle for three rounds but it appeared that the Swedish-Iranian fighter rocked his Brazilian opponent more often and controlled the grappling game. It was not enough for Madadi to get the win however, as the TUF: Live vet would earn his first UFC victory.
