Once Condit takes the belt from GSP his first title defense will be against Hendricks. This is going to be a helluva good card.
Condit is definitely a beast, but I wouldn’t count out GSP. Surely 17,000 Quebecois chanting his name will be an extra shot of adrenaline…
Ok Canada… this is getting out of hand. you have to share GSP. I need to see him fight live sometime.
I’ll be seeing this event live, I’ve already ordered my tickets. :-)
@Corey
I have a feeling the US will see a lot of GSP after UFC 154. I have a feeling he won’t be back to Canada for awhile after this event. That’s why I made sure I got tickets to it.
@will
Once Condit loses to GSP, he could take on Jake Ellenberger, after he beats Jay Hieron. GSP can get the winner of Hendricks-Kampmann or Anderson Silva, if he wants to go down to 170.
GSP steps out of the spotlight and people start counting him out. He will win and then I think nobody deserves a shot more than Martin Kampmann.. that guy keeps getting shafted
good match! looking frward!!!
i hope this statement is taken serious..Conduit is a bitch-made fighter after Diaz fight and lost millions of fans on that performance.GSP WILL DOMINATE HIM JUST LIKE EDGAR-HENDERSON 2 DIAZ WON
MEANING EDGAR BARELY LOST 1ST MEETING AND EDGAR CLEARLY WON 2ND FIGHT FIGHT MATRIX EVEN PROVED IT.. DIAZ SHOULD GET WINNER KAMPMANN-HENDERICKS
This fight probably won’t happen this date I’m sure someone is going to get injured from training
Diaz would have lost the fight any way……. in case you forgot he got busted for drugs….. again. It was a close fight and at least condit is clean and has respect.
he has a medical card…diaz vs gsp needs to happen…he won 11 straight b4 pussy ass conduit fight..i thought conduit was a killer b4 that fight lost millions of fans due to runnin
Medical card doesn’t mean anything as long as it’s still illegal on a Federal level. State governments can give the thumbs up all they want, but Federal law trumps it.
Condit has had 2 of his 28 wins go to a decision, one of which was the Diaz fight and now everyone hates on him, crazy. GSP has bored the he11 outta people in how many of his fights again?
I was a fan of both Diaz and condit, but he pulled a Machida. I hate the backward peddling in fights. He lost me as a fan in that fight. Of course e can gain it back, as I am now a huge fan I machida.
As for medical marijuana, I support it fully, an it doesn’t matter if it’s federally illegal, Obama has said he wouldn’t go after growers in states that it was legal in.
Think you guys missed the point of the entire Diaz vs. NSAC ongoing saga and that’s that he made a mistake and then allowed a lawyer with an agenda to compound that mistake (and it appears he will again…). At the end of the day, Vicodin is legal with a prescription but if you don’t list it, you’re suspended.. same as marijuana.
“Obama has said he wouldn’t go after growers in states that it was legal in.” – that is not true. 2 weeks ago here in Oregon a grower, who grows only for a dispensary, had their fields raided by the DEA and everyone was arrested even though the state government allows it.
Well hopefully when Condit puts a beatdown on GSP you’ll become a fan again.
I just don’t see Carlos being able to defend the infamous double leg…
Unless for some odd reason, Georges is completely out of shape or has a horrible weight cut, it’s apt to be the same ‘ol song & dance, 5 rd wraslin’ clinic: UD.
Personally, I hope GSP smashes Condit. Carlos lost me as a fan after his last “performance” and all the BS he talked leading up to the “dog fight”. I also thought it was pretty lame of him to duck Koscheck when Josh called him out directly after GSP withdrew from their fight @ UFC 137 in attempt to save the card (when Carlos was obviously healthy and had a full training camp) as well as not defending his “title” against Hendricks, or anyone for that matter.
