Baczynski Thumps Thoresen
Seth Baczynski extended his winning streak to six with a devastating “KO of the night” candidate victory over Simeon Thoresen. Thoresen displayed solid technique early but Baczynski lured him into a brawl and capitalized big time. Thoresen tried to create distance with his right hand but Baczynski capitalized with a nasty left hook that floored the Norwegian fighter cold.
Gagnon Submits Watson
Mitch Gagnon rebounded from his UFC 149 loss to swarm Walel Watson before finishing him on the ground. Gagnon evaded a superman punch from Watson and then countered with a wicked left hook that sent Watson to the mat. Watson tried to recover during the scramble but Gagnon went all out with strikes before eventually taking his opponent’s back and submitting him via rear naked choke.
Noke Stuns Brenneman
Kyle Noke wasted little time in making a memorable welterweight debut as he scored a TKO victory over Charlie Brenneman. Noke landed a solid jab that stunned Brenneman early. Brenneman then got caught with his hands down again and ate a wicked cross that decked him. Noke wasted no time and pounced with a barrage of shots that caused Dan Miroglotta to step in. While it appeared a controversial stoppage, Brenneman did not make a move to take the Aussie down until after Noke had already been pushed off.
