We all have demons, and after sitting on the shelf for a year behind testing positive for oxycodone and oxymorphone post-UFC 138, Chris Leben is now set to put his behind him and make his return to the octagon. Welcoming “The Crippler” back into the cage is Czech wrestler Karlos Vemola.
Leben (22-8) is on coming off a trouncing at the hands of Mark Munoz at the aforementioned UFC 138. Prior to the loss, “The Crippler” was on a 4-1 run that included victories over Wanderlei Silva, Yoshihiro Akiyama, and Aaron Simpson.
Vemola (9-3) began his UFC tenure as a heavyweight, but now finds himself at 185 lb. with a 1-1 record in the division. “The Terminator” is coming off of a submission loss to Francis Carmont in July. Prior to that bout, he submitted Mike Massenzio with a rear-naked choke.

Great! Leben is always fun to watch.
Well leben won’t prove sh!t if he wins and it’ll look terrible if he loses and to be hones he’s just so average and has bad grappling that i think he’ll actually lose
Why trash talk this guy man he has been in some of the best wars in the UFC. I can’t wait to see him get back on track. I’ve always been a Chris Leben fan
I’m just saying he’s very overrated and could get beat by a huge underdog, its happened before against jake rosholt
Leben always enters the cage to bang, glad he is back as the Crippler is always entertaining.
Chris Leben is one of the few fighters that I could care less about as far as his W/L record is concerned. However, having said that, I do enjoy watching him fight, a lot. He has the personality and the energy that make you excited to see his fights, his interviews are entertaining, and not to mention, he is crazy! He certainly gives you the bang for your buck when you watch him, whether he wins or loses.
How did I miss is post! So glad to hear that Leben is back. The guy fights his heart out win or lose!!!! Welcome back Leben!
