While the recent UFC 151 debacle proved that the promotion is still not safe from its injury woes, it seems that the bad news just keeps coming. Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton Jackson has suffered an undisclosed injury and is out of his UFC 153 bout against Glover Teixeira.
UFC President Dana White broke the news via twitter today, simply saying, “Rampage is hurt and out of UFC 153 RIO. SUCKS!” No official word has been given as to what it is that has happened to the former champion, nor who shall replace him against Teixeira. “Rampage” has never been shy about competing while injured, so one is left to wonder what exactly is wrong this time out. The bout in Rio was slated to be the final UFC appearance for Jackson, who has been at odds with the company for quite some time.

I dont get it? Does anyone remember when these guys would fight two or three times in one night? Now they cant fight twice a year! I am almost done with the ufc! I will save my money and watch bellator or strikeforce!
I fully expected Rampage to pull out of this one. Theres no way he wants his last high profile, meaningful fight to be a loss to a no-name in Glover Texeira. I pittied the fool that was Rampage for even accepting this fight.
I still want to see rampages last fight to be with Wanderlei so it will be both of there last fights.
