As reported yesterday, Chris Weidman recently underwent elbow surgery to remove some bone fragments. While Weidman is on the shelf for the time being, the Hofstra wrestler says that it should be a very short turnaround. The Serra-Longo product expects to be back in a full training camp as soon as 3-6 weeks from today. Weidman is currently slated to face Tim Boetsch at UFC 155 on December 29th.

Photos of the bone fragments the undefeated prospect had removed can be found below, as well as on his official Facebook account.
