WHO CARES…
UFC JUST SAID MACHIDA VS SILVA AT UFC 89
I’ll be there.
Thiago Silva not Wand Silva, so it’s not all that great.
the moment of truth
machida will destroy thiago i cant wait!
Yeah I also think the Thiago’s are over rated. This one especially.
i agree with you brandon thiago silva is overated
I don’t think he’s overrated. He’s just got a very padded record. I think he hasn’t fought the best guys in the UFC, but he has beat people up pretty fast and pretty bad, so I guess we’ll see at UFC 89, for free.
most people are throwing away money pick Sylvia and Irvin over Fedor and Silva what a joke
OK so let me start off by saying I HATE tim sylvia, but he’s going to beat Fedor this weekend. Fedor hasn’t fought in a while and he hasn’t fought top competition in years. Tim Sylvia was beating the trash outta big nog before he got choked out (loved watching that) and I think that if he stays elusive and avoids the ground this will be 25 minutes of Sylvia beating up Fedor pretty bad. I do hope I get proved wrong but I don’t see Fedor beating Timmah standing at all. That reach is a beyotch. Soooo I gotta say Timmah by UD or Fedors corner throwing in the towel from swolen eyes and cuts.
I agree brandon Tim is gonna beat fedor…but i think tim will eventually catch fedor with a right and drop him and probably finish him off via tko…but i could also see fedor winning via armbar…hopefully sylvia has worked his clinch and takedown defense…i dont wanna see a 30 sec. main event
i disagree with brandon and the gunslinger, if any1 is overated its machida, i think t-silva is going to be the next big think at 205 the guy is an animal
i no people say that size doesn’t matter but **** ive just seen i picture of tim an fedor together and fedor looks like one of KOuch dwarfs haha i had tim winning this fight any way but now im sure hes going to win it might not be pritty but i can see fedor winning this, can we in the uk watch this fight anywere?
ment to say CAN’T see fedor winning this not can! my bad
Affliction is really putting on a great card here. I hope it lives up to the hype.
Lyoto Machida-vs-Thiago Silva is a super match up! Battle of the unbeatens!
I haven’t seen anything in here in a long time worth making a post for but this one takes the cake. Anyone who thinks Tim Sylvia has a chance at beating Fedor is out to lunch. Fedor will strike with him for a while then he will drive him to the ground and pound him for a while before submitting him with an arm bar or rear naked. And that you can take to the bank!!!
I agree that Fedor on the ground poses a serious threat to Timmah, But I don’t see him getting Tim on the ground that easily. In a ring (which always helps out the striker instead of the grappler) Tim has a much better chance because he can’t be pressed up against the side of a cage for the takedown. Fedor will have to greco clinch or shoot and both those are hard on a 6′8 guy. Fedor is going to lose and that sucks because I really wanted Randy to give him his first loss. If timmah wins this fight Randy may never fight again because who cares. He destroyed tim sylvia and then tim beats the #1 HW in the world? bleh.
fedor has one loss, in 2000 his fifth fight with Tsuyoshi Kohsaka. it was stopped from a cut so hes pretty much unbeaten, in 8 years at least.his big competetion out of 28 fights is only a small handful of guys.id like to see him win but i think timmer knows how to handle the stocky guys.
Wow. Some comments here raised a few eyebrows. I never thought Id hear someone actually say a situation existed where FEs corner would throw in the towel. I see the opposite happening. Fedor catches Tim with a few good strikes and rocks him. He takes it to the ground and bang :Armbar and BOOM OUTTA HERE. Thats how i see it going eventually. As long as Fed wins Ill be happy then bring on Randy.
agreed hope fedor wins so we can see him and randy get it on…. we seen how couture can take down silva and dominate for 25 mins … i dont see why fedor cant do the same… prediction ~ fedor by decision
Fedor will have a very easy time getting Tim to the ground……does anyone remember Randy Couture and how he took Tim to the ground at will, well Fedor uses judo…very similar to the what Randy was using…GR wrestling? The only reason it took Nog three rounds to submit Tim was because he had a HELL of a time getting him to the ground. If Fedor has any trouble……which I really doubt he will…..he’ll just pull guard like Nog and sweep. Really the only way is if Sylvia catches him with a flash KO via punch or knee or something. I think Fedor has better standup than Tim and a MUCH better ground game.
Did I call the Fedor fight or what !!!
