With Cat Zingano being released from her bout to answer the call from Strikeforce, Kim Connor-Hamby (pictured) has stepped in against Leslie Smith. Connor-Hamby is currently undefeated in her young career. Invicta announced the move on Friday.
Connor-Hamby is 4-0, with all but one victory coming by way of TKO. All four of her fights have taken place under the Arkansas Extreme Challenge banner. Her opponent, Leslie Smith, is coming off a split draw in her Invicta FC 1 bout with Kaitlin Young. The California-based fighter is 3-2-1 in her career.
Invicta FC 3 takes place October 6 live from the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas. The card will be headlined by the inaugural atomweight (105lbs) title fight between Jessica Penne and Naho Sugiyama. The card has not announced its broadcast plans but will likely stream via the company’s website.
