The UFC’s debut in the Chinese market, which will see the promotion head to the Cotai Arena in Macau on November 10th, has had a light heavyweight clash added to the bill as the latest member of the Blackzilians, Thiago Silva, returns to the octagon to face off with undefeated prospect Stanislov Nedkov.
Silva (14-3), who made the move from American Top Team to Blackzilians last month, is coming off a loss to Alexander Gustafsson in April. Prior to the bout, the Brazilian spent 15 months on the shelf behind a false urine sample after destroying Brandon Vera, which saw his win overturned.
Nedkov (12-0) will be making his return to the octagon after blowing Silva’s former teammate Luiz Cane out of the water one year ago today at UFC 134. The Bulgarian was slated to return against Fabio Maldonado in Brazil, but the bout fell through due to Nedkov’s visa issues.

I for one was really hoping to see Silva fight Vera again. I think Vera would destroy a clean Silva. Hope the guys who use Twitter get on to Dana
to try and get a change on this one bad choice. Give Nedkov the winner of the Davis Prado fight.
I like this match up myself. Silva by unanimous decision.
