The UFC’s fist venture into China, which takes place in November 10 at Cotai Arena in Venetian Macau Resort Hotel, has seen a middleweight bout added to the card as Tom DeBlass makes the trek down to 185 lb. to face tough Japanese mainstay Riki Fukuda.
DeBlass (7-1) made his UFC debut on 12 days’ notice in April, being outpointed by Cyrille Diabate at UFC on Fuel TV 2. Prior to the bout, Deblass was able to collect both the Ring of Combat Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight titles.
Fukuda (18-6) is currently 1-2 in the UFC, with losses to Constantinos Philippou and Nick Ring in his UFC debut, split by a victory over former WEC Light Heavyweight Champion Steve Cantwell. The loss to Ring came in controversial fashion as Fukuda was awarded his win bonus for the night.
