A lightweight scrap between Mark Bocek and Rafel dos Anjos is on tap for UFC 154 in Montreal. While it is unclear where the bout will end up on the anticipated card, the two BJJ black belts are sure to put on a show in an attempt to climb up the stacked UFC lightweight ranks. UFC officials announced the bout Monday.
Both Bocek and dos Anjos are riding two-fight winning streaks into their November meeting. Bocek, a TriStar gym product, has defeated Nik Lentz and John Alessio since losing to current lightweight champion Benson Henderson. Dos Anjos has posted wins over Kamal Shalorus and Anthony Njokuani since dropping a contentious split decision to Gleison Tibau.
UFC 154 takes place November 17 in Montreal, Quebec. The headlining bout will be a UFC welterweight title unification bout between champion Georges St-Pierre and interim champion Carlos Condit. The card is expected to take place at the Bell Centre.
