Dan Henderson: “I Hope Jones Tries to TKO Me” (Video)

UFC light heavyweight number one contender Dan Henderson dropped by the “UFC Tonight” studio to sit with hosts Chael Sonnen and Kenny Florian and discuss his UFC 151 title shot. “Hendo” expressed his hopes that Jones comes in aggressively in their bout so that he can bring his biggest weapon into the fray, his deadly right hand. The two will face off in the main event of UFC 151 on September 1 live from Las Vegas, Nevada.

If Jones wins, it won’t be TKO, it’ll probably be submission. Silva got the RNC, Jones can too. I’d like to see Hendo getting the KO though. Go Hendo!
Silva and Aldo have never ventured outside their weight classes as title challengers, but Dan has done that with Spaids. Trumped. It’s all about who is willing to take the risk and go UP in weight — neither of those two clowns are willing to fight guys their own size — nooooooooooo wayyyy on pound for pound.
If Dan Henderson defeats Jon Jones does that make Hendo the BEST P4P fighter on the planet?
Wins over Fedor, Shogun and Jones consecutively makes it kind of hard not to put him in contention with names like GSP and Silva
No, he would be up there but in P4P I think that Silva and Aldo would both still be ahead of him . Im not really a big fan of either one, but first off Silva already beat him, and has yet to lose in the octagon .
Like I said not a big fan of Aldo but people are not talking about him enough he already has a few title defenses and I really don’t see anybody beating him on the feet who doesn’t have KO power not even Frankie Edgar(who I love). On top of that he seems pretty much impossible to take down.
A win over jones would bring Hendo the UFC belt, which adds to his championships in Pride AND Strikeforce… Would him becoming the light-heavy king make him the greatest living MMA legend?

I Love Hendo…I just had to say it. Jones is obviously great, but I am pulling for Hendo in this fight. C’mon buddy, you can do this.
I think Hendo is already one of the greatest MMA figthers ever, but beating Jones and getting the UFC LHW belt would solidify that I think. I hope he wins.

I think that Hendo will be in the best shape of his life. Its going to be his third chance at a UFC title, if he looses, I really do think that he is going to retire for that very reason.

Yeah I used to think it was impossible for Shogun to be knocked out too, until I saw bones do it. I love love love Hendo but bones can finish this fight either way c’mon man!
