Former UFC and Strikeforce fighter Jason “Mayhem” Miller was arrested Monday morning after being found naked inside a church in Mission Viejo, California. Miller is expected to be arraigned shortly and was being held on $20,000 bail. TMZ first reported the story before it was confirmed by other sources.
Miller was arrested after the church pastor called the police believing someone had broken into the church. The church was vandalized and a fire extinguisher was sprayed throughout the church. When police arrived Miller was naked on a couch in one of the church’s rooms.
Miller retired from MMA following his loss to CB Dollaway at UFC 146. Miller was reportedly injured before the bout and was released following a poor performance by both fighters. The former TUF 14 coach also got into a spat on social media site twitter with UFC President Dana White, an incident White stated he regretted following UFC 150.
The troubled former fighter also severed ties with his manager a month ago and had been attempting to start a new career as a comedian before the incident this past Monday.
