After a failed live run for its fifteenth season, The Ultimate Fighter returns to a taped format for TUF 16.
Debuting on September 14 with the the usual 10 PM (EST) time slot on FX, TUF 16 features UFC heavyweights Shane Carwin and Roy Nelson in the coaches’ seats. The season, which will focus on welterweights, begins with the usual 32 fighters competing for the right to stay in the The Ultimate Fighter house and earn a chance to compete in the UFC.
While the fighters have yet to be announced, the season finale has already seen a date set for December 1, where Carwin and Nelson will meet in Vegas with the event televised on FX .

Looking forward to seeing the Diaz brothers in this one!
will be good to see shane carwin again, and can’t wait to see him fight roy nelson especially since from what dana says he is acting like a little diva which I would not have expected coming from him. Why though do they have heavyweights coaching lighter weight fighters? They do that on practically every TUF.
I think its because they may have to fight a person if they are in the same weight class and that could very well be a conflict of interest. (coach wise)
