  • Junior Dos Santos wants to fight Alistair Overeem, not Cain Velasquez. The Dutch kickboxer has gotten under the champion’s skin. Dana is unsure of the promotion’s next step.
  • On Frankie Edgar’s immediate rematch with Ben Henderson at UFC 150: “Frankie has done everything for us, I didn’t want to give him the fight, although he deserved it, I wanted him to move down to a lighter weight class. It would be better for him… but he doesn’t want to do it. So we went ahead and did it (the rematch)”.
  • “Cesar Gracie has a better chance of talking me into hair plugs (than letting Nick Diaz fight overseas while he’s suspended).” Dana will meet with Nate Diaz this week to talk about a time line for their title shot.
