[UPDATE] The bout is again being moved to UFC 151, more to come on this story [UPDATE]
UFC 150, which takes place August 11 at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, has seen yet another change to the bill as a lightweight bout which pits Thiago Tavares vs Dennis Hallman, that had originally been moved off the card to UFC 151, has once again been penciled in for the event.
Tavares (17-4-1) comes into the bout rolling with consecutive wins, both of which took place in his home country of Brazil. The Brazilian most recently defeated Sam Stout by unanimous decision at UFC 142, and knocked out Spencer Fisher last summer at the promotion’s initial return to Brazil, UFC 134.
Hallman (51-14) will be making his lightweight debut after a failed attempt to make 155 lb. against John Makdessi in December. Currently 3-1 in his last four bouts, Hallman defeated Makdessi via first-round rear-naked choke at UFC 140, despite failure to hit the lightweight mark.
